GCNSL - Newsletter March 2020

Greetings from the Secretariat

Dear members and friends of the UN Global Compact,

We hope that you are doing well in these turbulent times and that you can adapt to this challenging situation. We are still very much looking forward to the upcoming collaborations and exchanges with you.

First, we would like to share with you the Appeal of the UN Global Compact to all companies for collective action to stem the COVID-19 outbreak, support workers, also in the supply chain, and facilitate business continuity for a fast recovery

Second, 2020 is an important year, as it marks 75 years of the United Nations and 20 years of the UN Global Compact for uniting business for a better world. We will be celebrating this milestone on the 3rd November 2020 in Bern, where we are pleased to announce Mr. Paul Polman as a guest speaker. Please register here.

If you are a UNGC/GCNSL member, we would be most happy to also welcome you at our virtual General Assembly of the Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein (GCNSL) on the 18th of May 2020. Please register here.

We will continue to assist you with great enthusiasm in the coming weeks, even though we have switched to home office in the secretariat. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can support you. We can also offer you some webinars, some of them in cooperation with our colleagues from other local networks.

We wish you all the best and and hope to hear from you soon.
