Invitation for companies, doing or planning business in Iran

Despite the political uncertainties about the future of international sanctions, billions of dollars’ worth of foreign investment are under consideration for Iran.
The IBR aims to break new ground in a politically charged atmosphere, encouraging and guiding companies investing in Iran to avoid harm to people and the environment by implementing responsible business standards.

The objectives of the briefing are to present the IBR project, discuss the latest developments in responsible business practices with regard to Iran with IBR experts, in particular the responsible management of divestment, as well as the results of an exclusive poll IBR has commissioned in Iran on responsible business conduct and expectations vis-à-vis FDI. The meeting will also offer access to the IBR's business and human rights and Iran experts on opportunities and challenges posed by the Iranian context for responsible business conduct.
