GCNS - Newsletter January 2018

Greetings from the Secretariat

Dear members and friends of the UN Global Compact

We wish a very good 2018 to all of you!

We are happy to support you in your engagement for the 10 UN Global Compact Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals. Together we will continue to bring forward sustainable, responsible and therefore successful business - a business, we all want to work for with enthusiasm.

Last year, our local network organized 24 public activities. We intensified our partnership with the Swiss Federal Administration in several fields and published together the “Guidance on OECD Guidelines”. We also had many direct meetings and contacts with our members. And we look forward to being in contact with you in the year 2018. To get a taste of our planned activities for 2018, please have a look at our list of services for members

Please let us know, what you need, what is most helpful for your daily work to make CSR and sustainable business happen in your companies, in Switzerland and worldwide.

Our objective: principled and sustainable business will become daily normal business. For this, we need many more companies engaging with us. We count on your engagement – it will motivate other companies, associations and NGOs to join and to engage.

We are looking forward to meeting you soon!

Yours
Antonio Hautle  & Alice Harbach-Forel
